All legs of our trip went smoothly: We all gathered at Washington Dulles from our respective feeder flights, and had a long but uneventful flight to Amsterdam.
Shout out to all moms from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (just before our last flight):
We made it to Zagreb still in fine spirits and the bus was waiting for us to take us to Ljubljana and our first hotel. Just as we were about to pull out, we realized that there was an elderly gentleman with two large suitcases settling in at the back seat of the bus. He actually thought we were a local commuter bus. After we straightened that out, and pointed him in the right direction, we made our way to Ljubljana and a few hours later, checked in at the M-hotel.
Our first official day starts tomorrow after a good night's rest!
